In a leafy courtyard, guests sipped rosé as the heat of the afternoon dissolved Coach Walz Vote Tim Walz T-Shirt . In April, at The Center’s annual benefit, a thousand people poured into a columned ballroom for a much splashier affair. Vastly different in tone, last night’s intimate gathering, one-tenth the size of the April function, blossomed with warmth and ease. Hosting the event at The Center itself reminded guests of the incredible energy and history of the organization. On the way up to dinner, Keith Haring’s famed bathroom mural, a delightful and dirty celebration of eroticism, provided a spot for guests to reflect, admire, mingle, and take the occasional selfie. The artist painted the work in 1989 and by doing so, gave The Center its own creation myth, complete with dragons, orgies, and dancing clouds. A year later, Haring was dead from the disease that ravaged so many of his generation. In the bottom corner, large and childish block letters read “Once Upon a Time…”.The Center has enjoyed a long relationship with the fashion industry, and it makes sense. At its best, fashion serves as a beacon for the weird, wild, and wonderful—a world where eccentricity is saluted rather than scorned.“You are here,” Glennda Testone, The Center’s beloved executive director, said in her opening remarks, “because you all have a voice, an influence.”The invitation-only event buzzed with the familiarity of a dinner party. Everyone appeared to know each other, shuffling up and down the table to greet one another. The parade of outfits, from the most classic of suits to the more avant-garde, provided a dazzling display under the violet lights.“This is family,” Derek Lam gestured to the room filled with so many familiar faces. Lam and husband Jan Schlottmann joined as co-chairs this year.

Well made, looks good as plain white t-shirt, excellently priced.

Nothing fancy, but a well made, inexpensive comfortable, mid to heavy weight plain white t-shirt. Floridians and those in warm climates might find it uncomfortable to wear as an undershirt– but perfect as a regular going around outside t-shirt year round. Heavier (and should be longer lasting) than a simple haines or jockey white thin undershirt. The white is very white, I am ordering grey today. I would buy these at double the price on Amazon.

Best t-shirts I’ve ever worn!

I love this t-shirt. I’ve read reviews where some customers said they did not feel the shirt was * heavy*, but by no means is it flimsy. I’m a chick though, so maybe guys wearing this as a work shirt need something a little thicker.
This brand also holds up MUCH better, in my opinion, to Hanes or FOTL. I have another 1 of these I refuse to throw out. Had it 3 years it held up that well and I’ve worn it a LOT. Washer and dryer over and over just makes it even better!
Ordering a bunch of these in other colors for sure.

Love these shirts, so comfortable!

Some of the reviews complain these aren’t heavy like advertised, and I agree they aren’t particularly heavy. I’d say they’re average weight. But they are exactly what I was looking for and I am very pleased. I purchased the maroon. I’d say they run a tad small. I’m a 150lb women and was looking for a loose fit and had trouble deciding between ordering the medium or large. I went with the large and I’m glad I did. I want to order more colors. I only wish I could order a single one or that they had more varied color combinations.
