London charity Stonewall Housing created a successful run of t-shirts to promote their new House of Stonewall initiative Grateful Dead Vote This Darkness Has Got To Give T-Shirt . An organisation who provide housing and support to LGBT+ people threatened with homelessness in the UK capital, the House of Stonewall project started as a film to celebrate and showcase the charity’s work. Directed by photographer and filmmaker Miriam Strong, it’s gone on to be shown at the Rainbow Honours Awards, where they have been shortlisted for LGBT Housing provider and are hopeful it may feature in BFI Flare film festival 2020. Alongside the film, they developed a visual identity for the House of Stonewall brand. People immediately connected to the House of Stonewall logo and branding, with many people enquiring about House of Stonewall merch. It was then that they approached ICON, and we offered to donate a set of t-shirts to the charity. They’ve been a great success with the charity’s supporters. We spoke to Cat Haldane, their fundraising and initiatives manager, to get her tips on how to run a successful charity t-shirt campaign.Want to create t-shirts for your charity? Well made shirt. Wash on Cold.
Good color and comfortable fit. Before wash was more of a regular. After wash between regular and slim fit. Washed in warm and dried on medium. Recommend wash cold and hang dry if you want it to stay the same size.

It’s a nice, comfortable shirt. But it fits abit larger than what I was expecting. I’m 6′ and almost always a large for shirts. Especially for Under Armour, I would have expected their clothing to be on the smaller/tighter size because this is workout apparel. This one is definitely not that – it fits more like an XL on me in terms of length (goes far past my waist), and just overall tightness.
All that said, I still think I’ll keep it because it’s very comfortable. Just not ideal for the gym because it’s so long.
*Edit 1 month later*
After a few wash/dry cycles the shirt seems to have shrunk a bit. It’s a nice size now- not baggy but not so tight – so I updated to 4 stars. I still would suggest if you’re looking for a tight fit as some might with a workout shirt, consider ordering a size down. Even after shrinking the L is looser than a slim fit.

He ain’t heavy but he’s my summer shirt …
Yes it’s true. These are not “heavy” but they are Cotton. They are well made. They are less than $6 each and they will work for summer wear.
Buy up a size and shrink to your actual size.
Good cheap Tees.
