100% cotton is the best for DTG printing because cotton is a natural fiber that absorbs the water based ink used in DTG printers, but not all cotton performs the same H'S up Houston football T-Shirt . With DTG, it’s important you choose blank tank tops, blank shirts, or blank hoodies with as smooth a surface as possible so you don’t get stray fibers affecting the print. Avoid any carded open end or C.O.E. cotton–these are those heavy, scratchy, cheap tees. Check out a recent post we did comparing how different types of cotton print with DTG. It is possible to print on fabrics like our triblends, heathers and flowy, but it takes a lot of testing for a print shop to get the settings right. If you want to do DTG printing on fabrics other than 100% just make sure that you work with a print shop that is experienced with the type of blend you want to print. For more on DTG printing on blends, check out this post. There is usually a higher per unit cost with DTG but is going to be more affordable when you are doing small runs or fulfillment printing. Pricing will vary printer to printer, but you can expect to pay around $12 – $14 for a DTG print. A good rule of thumb, when reselling, is to try and double your margin. The great thing about kingteeshops is they are retail quality tees in terms of fabric and fit, so you can easily sell them for around $30.

Good outside work T-shirt
Bought these for working in my yard. They are just the right size (XL) and length. On me, the hem is down to the bottom of the front pocket openings on my jeans and the fit is slightly loose, not figure hugging.
I’m not sure what the definition of “heavy” is supposed to be. These seem to feel slightly thicker than the Hanes or Fruit of the Loom multi-pack white T-shirts you can buy at your local supermarket, but you can still easily see through them when held up to a sunny window, for example.
I waited to do this review until one shirt was washed to record the amount of shrinkage and see how the texture changed. New, they are almost silky in feel. Very nice. Once washed, they lose that and become slightly rougher, like any other T-shirt. After one wash, as shown by the photo of washed over top of new, they have lost maybe 1″-1.5″ on length, but the width change was minimal and the fit is still a loose XL. The color faded slightly also.
It’s a T-shirt and it’ll meet my intended use, but I wouldn’t say they were “special”

When asked why do I wear a black t-shirt 365 days a year I respond, “because they don’t make anything darker”. Needless to say I own a bunch of black t-shirts. This brand, for fit, durability, comfort, warmth, and value for your dollar, is as good as most any I own and I own a bunch of these. 100% satisfied
